Weeekend :P

Best day so far I guess :p
Kimberly is so nice to me, keeping a seat in the bus and stuff (love it)
So haha already got my daily rythm haha, hanging around with Kim, Andy and Kurt in the morning (:
Quite nice!

-oh haha Kurt told me that they had some troubles with the busdriver yesterday after school so he went off the bus some stops before, and walked home, so he wouldnt be blamed hahaha heaps fun!!
Exciting who the driver might be today :O

And then roll class (meeting in a special group thing everymorning, our names are getting checked and stuff) it's alright (except that you have to read something, so I just grapped a thick boring thingie thing haha!!

Anyway before Roll class, Caiques introduced me to Jenne (yr 12) She's going to denmark  for a exchange year! so cool! I liked talking with her cause, we kindda have the same interests (exchange haha)

But I was quite suprised when she told me, that her first priority actually was Denmark! I mean thats amazing :D

So for the ski trip im sharing room with Rachel and Mattie! yay! they are going to buy heaps of Australian sweets! :D haha its awesome!
Therefore, Emma is taking me to a supermarked or something, so I can be a real aussie on that area (: Im gonna be an expert haha! exciting!!!!

So im getting better at knowing people which means that now I got something to talk about <3 not quite as lonely as before :P so I really enjoyed school today, and in food tech, miss aloud me to bring my laptop for the lessons so I can look up words (cause I dont get anything of the strange words haha)

so thats heaps cool!

Btw: had drama! omg, thats seriouse stuff in AUS :o SHit they were heaps good! ): agrhh im so far behind in everything haha!! :s

Anyway weekend now! so im going to SLEEP ! I need it, im just so tired like never before ):
Oh and Ivan might get me a bike yay! that could be awesome :P

Schoolday! As usually -.- kindda boring, when you dont get the assigments or their talking! My english mate (Hamish) and I just stare out of the window all day loooong and then I got my awesome DANMARK pencil haha with the sailing ship! Think I might have seen it sail from end to end 100 times by now.. :D

Anyway Emma and I failed big time in food tech. .. hmm Our icecream didnt turn out, as it should, and what a boyish thing, that they just eat it instead ewww :p

So after school Dani, I, Bridget and Caique went to Penrith by train (Omg, the tickets are SO CHEAP) seriously! Martin should have been there too, but other priorities i guess haha!

It was fun thoug.. everybody kept telling me that "find an aussie" is almost impossible in Sidney cause there are so many, but when I stepped out of the train in Penrith I was overwhelmed!!

There was ONLY acien people :s shiiiit maiin, now I know what they mean ! :P

Surprise number 2!

When you are going to a "small" shopping center in Australia, it simply just mean HUGE! :o OMG I have never seen anything like it before, it is heaps better than i Poland haha! everything is just bigger here (:

Had an awesome day thoug, and Caiques got a haircut! WOW haha (that was about time) :P -kidding
So came home about 8 or 8.30 anyway,.. exhausted, tired, devastated and SLEEEEP!

Ohh yearh and paid for some of the ski trip so now ill defs. go :) yay! Looking so much forward, and sharing room with Rachel and Mattie!!! its gonna be heaps coool! wee

Talked to Jane about a simple thing such as putting coins into a trolley, when you are on shopping!
A common thing in Denmark, but quite new in Australie (Only Aldi got those) -and yearh they do have Aldi in Australia .. strange thing thoug

Jane told me that there actually are jobs where you drive around to pick up the trollies there have been droped by lazy people!

Just a quick update thoug.. :o)

Finding people!

So went to my second school day. The Raining was falling (it still is) and it was quite cold. Anyway I was kindda lost when I came there, couldnt find people haha, so I ended up hanging around with some year 12 boys I guess... hmm what else to do? :o Anyway found out that Im catching the bus with one of them (of course I cant remember his name.. )

So had maths with Emma again! -we are getting better and better :) And found out who I was sitting next to in the bus yesterday (Cameron or something like that) Tennis was cancelled because of the rain, so I spend my lunch with Caique, and some other people, and the next 3 lessons with him and Dani! Really funny haha, got to know the truef about DK, Brazil and AUS :o) quite fun..

.... And talk to Martin, so getting really good at understanding Norwegian :) yay!

So found the right bus with a bit of help haha! and just sad and talked for a while.. and the rain wouldnt stop, even when I had to walk home... shit maiiiin ):

Anyway one of the Junior girls is my neighbour (is spelled?) really cute, so talked to her + friend on my way home.
Yvonne is not home for some time (taking care of their grandson) so Warwick and I are just having a good time, with some sudoku and Jane of course.. wonder how tonights dinner is gonna be x) ?!

First school day!

First challenge: To catch the bus in the morning!
Went quite easy thoug haha, loads of nice people, which was cool. Then went to the administration, and Caique my mate came to entertain me a bit (: yay!
Elise Showed me around (omg took some time, and I was sooo confused really!) A huge school, and the funny thing is that you move around in different rooms every 40. min :O gotta get used to that :s

So I got into these classes i guess:

English advanced (Poems: Shakespear oh no!)
Food Technology (my best cooking mate Emma <3)
PD/H/PE
Drama
Senior Science
Maths (Phythagoras omg!)

Anyway people are so friendly and the teachers too x) really it has been a great day!
So saw this rugby game thingie thing haha omg they just bounce into eachother.. probably a part of the game thoug (: haha

So there is this Norwegian exchange student on the school to! You wont believe how happy I was to talk danish just for a bit, really it was amazing :o)

And then im gonna tell about my cooking buddy Emma haha! We was supposed to make icecream but 2+2 terrible cooks not the best coctail i guess haha! Hope it turns out well anyway, (it probs wont ,, shame)

So the school is rather big! about the dobble size of my old one, probs more! :O but people was good at helping, and even caught the right bus home because of Ashley (senior science) helped me! thank god :)
But how to get off the bus if you dont know where? haha easy thoug, sat next to this awesome guy (turned out he was in my maths class upss) a little chat and then his friend kindda helped me! (could have been difficult when u cant remember  the roads, streets etc. )

So got signed up to tennis I guess, which is tomorrow (but im not the new Caroline Wozniaki for SURE!)
Haha gonna be nice thoug, and then im plannig to go in this skitrip... Warwick (most amazing host dad ) already signed the papers! lucky me <3

So that was pretty much it I guess! -or not

Warwick took me to this office supply shop!. he knew the owner, so he pretty much helped me to get what I needed (: fantastic! and then daddy recognized a young woman (Anne) who worked with youngsters in Winmalee! A fabulous person really, got her buisness card, and she invited me to some get2gether thing Wednesday with other youngsters, music and free food :D yay!

So right now: Just ate and got guest (dunno her name thoug, but shes kindda sweet) just showed her "storebæltsbroen" and where I lived in Dk ! Think they liked it haha!

What a day!

First of all - what a strange thing to do! -wearing your shoes in the house, even in winter omg haha (:
But then Warwick wanted  to do something european i guess so the new rule: please take your shoes off! Im kindda used to that thoug x)

Second I went out with Lynda and Peter (god I simply just love them)
Got a talk with the principal at WHS, got shown the subject (tell about that tomorrow) AND haha I got my uniform!!
Went into this little shop (on) the school, to get one (: Shit tried all this clothes on, and then when I tried my long sport pants Lynda laughed and couldnt stop ! Haha they are rather baggy dont u think so? I could only agree haha so funny ! G

Anyway we went to make my bankaccount and got some really nice coffee (guess its normal to go on a cafe rather often here)

Btw got invited to this skitrip in snowy mountains i guess! with the school very soon, if im going its gonna be awesome!! :D

Haha yearh loads happend today, and went to the Rotary club too
What a Club omg! Got this fine (from John) cause he "said" i took his chair (I didnt haha!) Really funny thoug and then i actually won a bottle of wine! (YEP student are not aloud to drink) hahaha i laughed so much !

and then this man came to tell about the out back (couldnt understand a thing) but he swipped this swippy thingie and I almost fell off my chair! He really scared me ): haha

So then he asked if I would like to try (afterwards) sure but I wasnt really good at i thoug, cause it really frightend me :S shiiiit maiiin

Anyway gotta go to bed, School tomorrow 8.30 (normal time in aus I guess) -and Caique my sweet fellow will prob meet me at the administration yay! 

Avoiding Jetlag :D

I kindda thought that I slipped away without jetlag but oh goss im tired today! Like really tired! ):
Anyway Yvonne and Warwick went to church, so I got up 10am (or actually I woke up 4am but fell asleep again)

I was home alone, kindda nice just chilling with my computer :D
Anyway I actually learned Warwick to make a Sudoku haha ! yearh Peters explanations was to difficult I guess ;) And then I got my first chore haha! feed and collecting eggs from the chucks, they are just lovely!

Well really spend much time with my new daddy haha he's just so great! Done some gardening, before the weather turned bad (Had to cancelled my walk with Yvonne, to visit her nice, because of that!) what a shame..

Anyway had just been chilling with some coffee, board games and my hosties! A great day i think (:

Dinner the 24th

Lynda, Peter and Caique picke me up, shortly after my last update.
We drove into Springwood and went on a chineese resturant! I was so lovely, and my first real
time i ate chineese, so that was cool!

Caique and I just clicked and he's a real talker haha! I simply just love it.
So after Peter ordered some special for us, and I read my fortune: New Ideas will make you Profitable
We went back in the car, and peter drove me to WHS so I could see the school (in the dark) Before im starting in Tuesday :S

Then we were invited on coffee at Caiques house, so we went upstairs (Caique what a messy room!! haha) And he showed me the subjects in school too ! argh haha its gonna be a weird experience, but im so excited really!

So I was back about 10pm and Yvonne & Warwick was still out, so I had a loooong cozy talk with Jane (just wonderful really)

Tomorrow im gonna sleep for a looooong time, while the others are attending church (:

24th - My first day

So Im really doing fine when u think about jetlag. I slept like a stone all night and today I havent really been tired, so thats good (:

Anyway Yvonne woke me up 10am haha like i told her too, cause im a really good sleeper x)
And then I got "the" breakfast :o Promite instead of Vegemite on toast! SPECIAL i can assure u omg haha! first i didnt really like it (maybe the layer was to thick) but im afraid that im kindda getting used to it, haha bad happits already on their way :s it wasnt bad and i really enjoyed it!

And then one of their really good friends came by (The lovely Jane) ,sweet lady I can assure! Think Yvonne and Warwicks house is croweded with people all the time, I really like it here (:

Anyway after i got dressed we took the train to Springwood (I think) And made some shopping, while talking and went on a Cafe to drink coffee (normal think in Aus i guess)
And then we walked back (about 20min i think) really nice and actually pretty warm! I thought it was colder cause the house isnt isolated so it feels like, but when the sun is shining I just need a long jersey or something! so thats cool!

In their garden Yvonne showed me a birds nest ( special name) it collected blue things to impress the lady birds haha! Its amazing really.

So just about it!

I have done so many things already in this short time, that I cant talk about them all.. and Ill probs forget some of the unfortuneatly ):

Travel day (22nd - 23rd)

So We went the the Airport quite early, cause I was supposed to be there 8.20am and going with the plain 11.20am. I wasnt really nervouse cause it kindda didnt realised what was happening! But at home I was quite stressed and easy to get mad (Sorry guys) :D
When I arrived at Copenhagen Airport i met Kristan Enné as the first, and next Stig (our tourguide) Soon afterwards the others started to arrive and suddenly it went quick!

Rie and Melanie came by like my cousin Lars also did (: I was so glad to see them! but still There was a lot of waiting.

Finally we could check our baggage in (which i wasnt looking forward too, only alowed 20kg :O )
But no probs there haha! I only packed 19.5kg AMAZING!! Hahaa but my hand baggage was another story, couldnt lift it almost :s
Dear god!

And then it went FAST! we said goodbye, and I was gone by the wind ;)
Of course I cried a little, but really I wasnt sad at all! I was EXCITED!! You dont think about leaving your family whén you are together with about 30 other exchanger, it's just a wonderfull feeling (no worries)

We were flying with Singapore Airlines (what a fantastic service) And my seat mates were Emilie and Laura <3

The first flight from Copenhagen to Singapore was about 12hrs (and not pleasent for me) I got so sick, i mean felt dizzy, got headache and ear problems ): I kindda slept most of the way cause I felt so bad, but a pill from Laura helped a bit! Lucky me :S

Anyway the service was good and besides bad flying weather, the trip went well.
Then we arrived in Singapore 5.20am and we were about 6 who had to catch a plain alone to sidney (we only got 2hrs) but  we managed fine without our guide (but kindda sad to say goodbye to all the others, especially Trine and Emma)

The flight from Singapore to Sidney took about 6-7hrs and we all slept the whole way (Emil, Andreas, Emilie, Laura, Emilie and I), and I felt so much better than the first flight! Lucky me, and again it was with Singapore Airlines haha! SO funny Emil was so out of it, when a stewardess woke him up to ask if he wanted anything to eat (: He couldnt understand a thing or hear! The lovely girl just kept repeating herself untill I explained her, that he just wanted to sleep! When he finally woke up he couldnt remember that it actually happend! hahah

Anyway we arrived in Sidney 16.30pm and we all were so proud of ourselves cause we managed the trip alone without any help!

When we came out, we all were recived by a lot of lovely people (I by Tony & Rhonda Orr, Lynda and Peter Sparkes, Shireen Ryan, Margaret and Robert Favelle! All with kisses and hugs (what a nice welcoming feeling i got) Btw. Because Bronwyn couldnt be at the airport she left me a letter, so sweet! (: She was welcoming me, and looking forward to my stay.

I said goodbye to my travel fellows (gonna miss u guys) And when for a walk out to the car with Tony Orr while having a nice convesation. I got Buisness cards from them all and they got mine COOL! :D haha I was the driven home to my new family Yvonne and Warwick (Lovely people) by Lynda and Peter Sparkes. It took a bit more than a hour. It was getting dark really early so couldnt enjoy Sidney that much!  Peter was telling me loads of stuff! (cant really remember it all OOOPS)
Anyway they invited me out to dinner with Caique today, so im really looking forward to meet him (:

So when I arrived Home Peter and Lynda stayed for a lovely dinner made by Yvonne. We were drinking a glass of wine, and got some tea. The house was / still is kindda cold cause they got no Isolation haha! Im glad I brought thick socks :O

I got my room! (every girls dream, especially the closet) <3 I love it, and a radiator yay!
And went on the internet for a while, to write a message back home to Denmark.
Wrote with Caique and Laura (seems like she got a great family too)
Unfortunately internet is not like in Dk hahaha i mean not wireless, so im gotta get used to it (:
AND REDUCE MY USE - maybe a good idea!

Hmm thats about it I think for the first day In Australia <3

The day before :s

The day before I left was better than expected! (:
Katrina came for a sleep over, and after dinner Jeanette came by with her lovely dog!
Katrina made me Pavelover (dont know how to spell it right) , an Australian dessert, quite nice really <3
I was getting kindda nervous for my travel the next day (22nd July) But had a wonderfull evening with good friends and family. (Oh Jeanette thank you som much for the present, quite nice)
After a hard time packing my bags, i finally finished in the middle of the night haha! But couldnt have done it withous Inas help :D

I was getting kindda sad in the night cause I havent spoken to any of my friends, but suddenly I got in Contact with Rie, Lasse and finally Mille called! <3<3<3 It made me so happy!! and saved my day (: Thx.

Anyway that was my last day at home, before my big adventure.

(Sorry know its kindda short, but im SO bussy haha! And im just trying to remember back at the day, cause so much happend since  then)

Den her sang betyder virkelig meget for mig efterhånden, så nyd den (: -se den som en del af mit sidste indlæg om begrænsninger!

Kunsten af begrænse sig som pige.

Jeg tror generelt at min svaghed ligger i af begrænse sig. Det gælder lige fra mad til tøj og afsked!
Jeg ser virkelig frem til det her nye eventyr jeg skal ud på, men man kan jo ikke lade være med at blive en smule trist, når man har sagt farvel til sine bedster og endda kun må pakke 20kg + 8kg håndbagage! Argh begrænsninger er ikke og vil aldrig blive mig... bom bom

Her i Onsdags dvs. d. 14 Juli, kom Rikke og jeg hjem fra vores vandretur! Det er virkelig noget jeg kommer til at savne. Os 2 fjollehoveder sammen i alle former for stunder! Hun er bare en ener <3, som hun selv siger om mig (: Også den bedste gave jeg nogensinde har fået kom fra hende. Den dejlige betænksomme pige, har lavet en video med alle vores skøre stunder sammen, lige fra tekst til billeder, videoer og sange samlet i et !

Bølgerne gik højt da den blev set for 2. gang i køkkenet, dagen efter at vi havde sagt farvel :( Min mor begyndte sågar at græde, for den video kom virkelig fra hjertet! og det er sådanne ting, man ikke tænker over i hverdagen, men som betyder noget. De betyder alt! MINDER.

Så om torsdagen d. 15 Juli var jeg sammen med Lasse drengen <3 også for at tage afsked (endda for anden gang) det blandet med afskeden til Rikke udløste den store tude kapsejlads i køkkenet, som jeg lige har beskrevet. Der er bare nogle få mennesker her i livet, som man ikke kan være foruden! Jeg er så heldig at have en del i mit liv <3 Det er egentligt tankevækkende hvor mange folk der egentligt holder af en, uden man er klar over det, eller skænker det en egentlig tanke. Rikkes far (Erling) delte endda en stor krammer ud, hvilket virkelig gav stof til eftertanke og en dejlig følelse bagefter.

Her idag har jeg så måtte sige farvel til mit arbejde og den dejlige familie jeg efterhånden har været hos nogle år! Liva, Silas, Ditte & Jesper gav mig en afskedsgave, som der virkelig var tænkt over! En dagbog og en bog (Nynnes Dagbog - det hele) Sagen er nemlig den (jeg citerer dig lige Ditte) at det som var sværest var afskeden i lufthavnen, men via. læsning kunne man få brugt tiden, uden at spekulere alt for meget over tingene. Man kunne bare læse og læse! Dette tip vil jeg nok få brug for den 22 Juli for jeg er virkelig en vaske ægte tudemarie!

Til sidst vil jeg lige (IGEN) sige at jeg kommer til at savne hver og en af de mennesker som på en eller anden måde har været i min hverdag - venner som fjender!

(: You dont know how much it means to me, that you have contacted me before my arrival! Its really nice to "know" somebody, so I wont feel totally alone the first couple of weeks down under. Hope you got a weird music taste, cause im bringing you some danish music haha!

Afsked.

Afsked er en af de sværeste brikker i det her pudslespil. Man skal sige farvel til sine kære her i Danmark, hvilket er hårdt, men om et år skal man pludselig sige farvel til sine nye venner og familiemedlemmer. Det er ikke altid helt let! guys jeg holder virkelig af jer, never forget that! <3 Det spændende bliver jo at se, hvem der er ens "rigtige" venner, når man kommer hjem igen. Meget kan nå at ændre sig, og ja specielt mig (: Det jeg prøver at få ud som budskab her er at jeg er utrolig taknemmelig for alle mine venner mm, og at jeg aldrig vil glemme jer. Tak for alle de fine hilsner på mit flag, og hold øje! -måske finder i det på et billede fra AUS. Hvem ved?! Good luck everybody <3

Afrejsebriefing 2-4 Juli

Så blev det tid til den meget omtalte afrejsebriefing på Ulstrup ungdomsskole, i jylland. Turen startede godt ud, med en ca. 5timers lang bustur fyldt med kommende udvekslingsstudenter (bedre bliver det bare ikke) Det var virkelig bare fedt, at man ikke skulle forklare alle, den der meget specielle følelse man har inden man skal rejse dvs. en blanding mellem tristhed og fuldstændig glædelse og spændthed. Så snart man nævnte det vidste folk hvad det drejede sig om, mega fedt!!

Derudover kunne man bare snakke med ALLE uden problemer for vi have mindst 1 ting til fælles, nemlig at være kommende udvekslingsstudenter! Vejret alle 3 dage var næsten for varmt! folk svedte, man blev ekstra træt og kunne ikke koncentrere os, men hey vejret var godt!

Efter indlogeringen på skolen (Jeg fik gymnastiksalen med en flok tøser deriblandt Trine <3 ) fik vi uddelt visitkort, Pins & T-shirts, hvilket bare gør fælles følelsen endnu større. Trine og jeg fandt hurtigt ud af at visitkortene var en hurtig måde at networke med andre på. Vi gik simpelhen rundt med den og når vi mødte nogle "nye" spurgte vi om de ikke ville have et. På den måde skabte vi sindssyg mange kontakter! Det sjove er at det, at bytte visitkort nok mest er en "pige" ting, for da vi havde modtaget ca. 20 kort fra andre, var der endnu ingen drenge i blandt, så det blev vores næste udfordring, hvilket lykkedes med stor succes ;)

Vi var delt ind i landegrupper (Australien syd, for mit vedkommende) hvor vi snakkede med de rebounds der havde været i samme land! Super søde og udadvendte mennesker alle sammen! Vi blev senere stillet op foran nogle opgaver i gruppen og denne blanding var virkelig god, da det altid er rart at kende dem du skal rejse sammen med og måske bruge en masse tid med under dit udvekslingsophold!

Hele dette arrangement blev sluttet af med en kæmpe temafest: HAWAII. Jeg tror at samtlige 201 exchangers (der omkring)  var klædt ud som Hawaiipiger/drenge, med undtagelse af SURFER pigen Trine ;) Festen var uden alkohol dvs en rigtig vandfest, men når man er en kæmpemæssig gruppe af udadvendte teenagere er heller ikke dette et problem.

Dansegulvet blev fuldt ud udnyttet og Trine & jeg dansede NON STOP med vores famøse fiskestang, blandt nogle meget fulde rebounds (de eneste der var tilladt at drikke) -en rigtig god blanding!

Om søndagen (sidste dagen) skulle der så gøres rent, pakkes og siges farvel! Ulempen ved sådanne arrangementer er at du knytter bånd til folk som rejser andetsteds end Australien, but hey thats life baby!

Busturen hjem brugte jeg på at sove et par timer, for efter en weekend kun med unge mennesker er man FULDSTÆNDIG SMADRET FRA TOP TIL TÅ! Derudover fik Trine og jeg igen knyttet et par nye kontakter til et par drenge fra bussen! -for sådan er det! Jo flere kontakter jo bedre, og jo flere chancer for nye oplevelser får du. Så mine kloge ord for denne omgang er sig JA og på med ROTARY SMILET ;) (er blevet tæske sindssyg, med det, da det er blevet sagt 10000000000 gange under weekenden) 18 dage and then Hello down under :D
