This is Melbourne

First of all, the photos are a bit all over the place, but Im sure you know where they fit in when you start reading about my day. I woke up this morning and saw a man hanging out in front of a window on some of the neighbour buildings. Yes thats right -a window cleaner! Melbourne is a place with a lot of things to do and a lot to look at! The city has a lot of sculptures, weird, pretty, colourful! Even the road signs is a piece of modern art. Again we catched the trams, which im sure we will be doing for the rest of the week. its easy and so charming ;) Anyhow the first place we went to today was a little artgallery with aboriginal art and history. Im kinda in love with all the aboriginal paintings I find them very interesting and so beautiful! It wasnt very big though but nice. I still reckon the one in canberra was way better I must say. Afterwards we went to Melbourne Gaol where Ned Kelly was kept gaoled untill his execution. -He is one of the famouse australian 'outlaws' we spent a lot of time this place. tried to get gaoled ourselves and went to court which was a kind of a play where you got some lines you had to say etc. very entertaining and it gave you a good feeling about why Ned Kelly was gaoled. From there we walked to have lunch! we ate BAH BAH burgers -lamb burgers and they were truely beautiful yummy yummy :) Anyhow the weather was
sad and rainy but it didnt stop us from walking trough this park with beautiful plant, flowers and a massive old and very pretty building! from there we walked to Melbourne National Museum -I think


On our way we saw a carriage with 2 horses, aw so pretty and made me think about home and my little pretty horse there. Anyhow the museum was free, very modern and massive. we saw a few exhibitions about the human mind and then they had this 'garden' with animals and birds like a mini zoo you could walk in.
After staying at the museum for a bit we decided that we were exhausted.

We went on the tram, Bronwyn home while me and Andi moved on to the Outlet shops. It was when we passed a police shop as well that andi said: Julie look there's a police shop! laughing so much aha!
It was today as well I fell because of all the slippery roads and my thongs! Not a very good combination but it made us all laugh, so all good! We went out for dinner again tonight yummy love holidays ! :)
