Today was the yearly swimmming carnival at glenbrook pool! Andi and Dave picked me in the morning and we were both dressed in blue from top to toe. Reason why: We were Blue Gum. The explanation is that the school is divided into houses, the people in the different houses are eg. with the last name from A-F or something like that. L belonged to Blue Gum and therefore we all had to dress in blue to support our team.
Anyhow it was a very hot day but at least there was shade at our side of the pool. All the yr 12 got a whole area ourselves. Our own BBQ etc. It was awesome. I brought my flag, sophie the Australian flag so yer we were pretty international. Swimming competitions were on all day and ocasionally all yr 12 got to jump in the pool! Very refreshing!
One of the hottest but best days ever! Wish school would be like this everyday!
