Phillip Island

12-01-11
Bronwyn booked this amazing one day trip for the 3 of us on phillip Island. We got up early and went to the shop where we got the tickets from. We had a bit of waiting time so Andi and I wanted to explore a shopping centre near by. We walked through this weird bridge thing and suddenly we were surrounded by police. Not one officer but like heaps, some of them eating lunch, others running around with papers: Oh shit! Well we tried to get out but we were kinda a lost so we asked one of the officers and he was like: Well girls you do realise this is a police station right? And normally you dont get out of them? Jokes. ahah got a bit nervous there aye (:
Anyhow we found our way back to Bronwyn laughing, no shopping this time, but an experience indeed!  We got on a little mini bus and off we went. Our driver who was also our guide talked, talked and talked. I reckon we drove over an hour before our first stop. A little little wildlife park. We had lunch and then this man came with his snake! Andi and I tried to hold it and I was like screaming ahahah it wasnt that bad tho. After lunch we went out into the park. There was a talking bird, different australian animals but one of the best part was when I padded a Koala! It wasnt very interested in me but it was cute as. In australia it is protected and therefore you cannot hold/carry it, only pad them in certain parks etc. but it was an experience! I still dream about when we came to the wallabies. running around free, but as soon as they saw food they surrounded you and started holding your hands. They were so so cute! As Tayla says: I need one!! -Bronwyn corrected us tho: No you dont need one but you want one ;) AHA a goose came over to me as well and started nipping from my hand! I was screaming cause I thought it would bite me, actually it was quite gentle and cute<3 The photos are a bit mixed but enjoy the´m (:
From there we headed to a little Island near Phillip Island. It had this farm open to the public, with cattledogs, horses, sheeps, etc. The little pigs were adorable!! Andi and I got a ride on a wooden horse, it was a bit tame ;) we saw a sheep getting a 'haircut' from there we went to a chocolate fabric, the pinguin Emma is made out of chocolate! yummy yummy we got to taste a 'test' how lucky aye
From there we went to a koala park to see more koalas. it started raining a bit but it was alright tho, me and andi fell in love with the teddy koala :D awww
We went for a walk on a beach as well, hot as but beautiful !
Almost evening so our guide picked up some pizza's, we just ate at a little park, beach thing. the seagles surrounded us one of them with only one leg :o it was cute ://
The second last stop was this beautiful area of nature. There was a lot of steps but walking along there you would suddenly start to spot the most beautiful blue backed pinguins. I found one which was a real poser so cute! And the colours in the area were so strong and so pretty! Took so many photos there! From there we drove to the pinguins march which was on the beach, a big tourist attraction, where you see the pinguins coming in from the sea to their nests. It started to get dark and there were so many people. you werent aloud to take photos cause it makes the pinguins blind for a while, so they can be put in danger. the view was amazing tho! After the march our guide drove us home ! Exhausted as i must say, but  one of the best days ever! Cant believe all the amazing creatures ive seen today (:
